JESUS!!!! There is no other name quite like it! At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord!!! There is such power in the name of Jesus. Demons flee at the name of Jesus. Darkness is removed – the Light comes in speaking the Name above every name – JESUS!
What a beautiful, powerful, magnificent name!!! All of Who He is is wrapped us in that one name – Jesus. Whether you whisper it in prayer or shout it from the mountaintops – He is there when you call on His name! And when He comes – all of of Who He is is present! I love His presence! There is life, joy, healing, deliverance, sanctification in the name of Jesus. He is LIFE! He is HOPE! He is our ONE THING!
Isaiah 54:4-7 instructs us: “Fear not, for you will not be put to shame; neither feel humiliated for you will not be disgraced; but you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the Lord of Hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, who is called the God of all the earth. For the Lord has called you, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected, ” says your God. “For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you.”
God has used this passage so powerfully in my life to break shame from me. We don’t have to live in shame, regret, or fear. We have no need to fear we will be put to shame. He is not out to disgrace us or humiliate us. He LOVES us with an everlasting love. We all are His bride – male and female. Jesus is our Bridegroom God.
“In righteousness you will be established; you will be far from oppression for you will not fear; and from terror, for it will not come near you.” Isaiah 54:14
Fear opens the door for oppression and terror in our lives. It is time to walk free from that fear. If you are being harassed by the past, that is not from God. It is time to FORGET the shame of the past. Do not live in fear of it. Reject the lies of the enemy. Silence the fear by speaking the name of Jesus over it. Truth removes error. Light pierces the darkness. It is removed from us in Jesus. There is no need to bring up the past any more. Remember Jesus said – “Behold I make all things NEW!” (Rev. 21:05) Call on His name and you will be delivered!
Establish yourself in His righteousness. Get rooted and grounded in Him. It is not by our works, but by Who He is! Our righteousness is as filthy rags. His righteousness is AMAZING! We stand before Him clothed in the righteousness of Jesus. Pure. Spotless. Undefiled. Holy.
Study His words. Learn Who He is. Learn what God says about you. And then walk in it! He is the Living Word. Speak the Word of God over yourselves today. Call on His name! He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
There is still power in the name of Jesus. If you struggle today with shame, speak the name of Jesus. If you are hurting or need healing, cry out to Jesus. If you need salvation, we know that all who call on the name of the Lord, Jesus, will be saved. His name is power!
Prayer for Today: Oh, Jesus – Thank You, Lord! I am free in You. Thank You for taking my shame, my sin, my place on your cross. I receive ALL that you have for me. I will call on Your name and I am saved! Thank you for the complete forgiveness, salvation and healing found at even the mention of Your name, Jesus! Amen.
