“The doorway to your glorious future is open already, waiting for you to step up and walk through it…….”
What a great word of HOPE! Often times I’ve felt like I was beating down doors. But God is saying the door is already open – just step up and walk through it.
Sounds so simple. Just step up and walk through the doorway that is open. Yet, sometimes we hold back. We stop and second guess. We let the past cloud our thinking. We determine what can happen in the future by what has happened in the past. We let finances, relationships or fears halt us from our heavenly rewards.
Imagine what would have happened to the Apostle John if he had refused to go through the door God had for him. John was on the island of Patmos being exiled for his faith when he began to get a vision of Jesus. In Revelation 4:1, 2 it reads: “After these things I looked and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne….”
WOW! He looked. He saw a door open. He heard the call. He immediately went through the door and began to receive Revelation.
There is door open for you. We don’t know what is on the other side of the doorway. But we will never know if we don’t step up and walk through it.
I don’t want to live my life in regret. I don’t want to get to the end of my life and wonder “What would’ve happened if I had just walked through that door?” I want to live my life on purpose – BOLD and COURAGEOUS. I’m not cowering to fear of failure anymore.
As I’ve faced into this RESET, God has been speaking to me about “Just Doing It”! Often I’ve waited on others, I’ve waited on circumstances, I’ve waited on so much. Many times my waiting was just an excuse to cover my fears. Yet when He has already opened the door, I just need to run through it.
Creation is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19) The whole world is just waiting for you to step up and walk through the doors He has already opened before you. When will you BE who He has called you to be? When will you do what He has called you to do?
What are you waiting on?
Prayer for Today: Lord, forgive me. I have allowed fear to overtake me. Deliver me from fears of the past, fears of failure, fears over finances. Lord, I choose to trust you today. I will go where You are leading me. I will step up and walk through the doors You open before me. I’m not pounding down my own doors, but I will walk through the ones You have opened. Help me to discern, to know and see the doorways You have opened before me. Grant me faith and courage to go with You into the future You have for me. In Jesus Name, Amen
