Last Saturday during our One Thing Prayer we testified. We celebrated how we are seeing God in our lives. We paused to just say “THANKS, GOD!” What a time of encouragement as we celebrated what God is doing in our midst. We had people share online what God is doing and we rejoiced with them. GOD IS MOVING in our midst.
I’ve heard it said you will have a test before you have a testimony……and often times there’s a little moaning in the process too! We want the testimony, but we don’t want to go through the test. We don’t want to experience the pain of the test. Yet we don’t get the one with out the other.
God shows up in our pain, in our trials, and in our tests. We only have to invite Him in. “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.” Psalm 34:18 We learn more of Who God is as we cry out to Him. The best thing we can gain from any test or trial is a greater revelation of Him!
If you are going through a rough time right now, seek God. Don’t run from HIm. Run to Him. Seek His face. Seek His character. Learn Who He is in your midst. Learn what His word says. Then stand on it! Declare it! Proclaim Who He is!
Life and death are in the power of your tongue. (Pro.18:21). Speak God’s word and character over your situation and watch faith rise up in you. Say “Goodbye” to the cycles that have held you in bondage. Say “Goodbye” to the destructive words that tear you down and discourage you. Say “Hello” to the Holy Spirit and His leading your life. Welcome His plans for you – that will lead to a future and a hope. Speak LIFE! Speak HOPE! Speak the WORD!
We aren’t staying in the test forever. We are passing through. The testimony is on the other side. It is so close. Don’t give up. Keep pressing into Him. Keep pressing through. Your miracle is coming. God is releasing your testimony! Hold on – His help is on the way. It is time to overcome! It’s a new season….It’s a new day.
“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even to death.” Rev. 12:11
